Assignments will not be posted on Mrs. Flippo's page for the next 2 weeks. Her computer is being sent in to be repaired.
Go Packers!
I, Mrs. Flippo, was born and raised in Wisconsin. Due to this fact, my entire family and I are HUGE Packer fans. Every year, my parents come to visit the classroom for my birthday, which is November 29. We eat pizza and decorate the tree for Christmas by stringing popcorn and cranberries. This year, unfortunately, my dad was sick and they were not able to make it before Christmas. When they were able to visit, it was only for a very brief time. They felt badly about this and made the class an deal. If the Packers went to the Superbowl, they would come back again and we'd have a pizza party. I will admit that very few of us believed that would actually happen. It did, however, turn the 5th grade class into a bunch of Packer supporters. Much to our delight, the Packers did not only go to the Superbowl, but they won it! Today, my mom, sister, niece and daughter are bringing pizza and we are going to celebrate that victory in style.
