Book-It Reading Log -  Students are expected to read 50 minutes a week to an adult in April. Parents may read with their children or take turns reading during this early part of the program.  Write in how many minutes each day your child actually read TO another person. Return the sheet at the end of the month. Pizza Hut's program only last through March, however, you may use any coupon you have gotten for March reading up to 30 days after receiving it.  In April, children can choose a prize from the treasure box or play money for our school store.  In May I will be tabulating the minutes.  The child with the most minutes recorded will win a free book.

Great new link for parents!   http://www.additudemag.com/    It has a lot of helpful ideas for parents with kids who have poor organizational skills, who may be attention deficit or have unharnessed energy.  I have found some good articles for myself.
