As a Lutheran school, the Christian faith is woven through everything that we do.
Our program of education strives to honor Christ by educating and encouraging students to develop Christian values and perspectives. We seek to prepare students to live a life of Christian service and discipleship.
We purposefully work to provide an environment that promotes the building of strong relationships that manifest the love of Christ.
Our students participate in many activities throughout the year which support the development of a Christian education. From weekly chapel services to community service projects, we teach our students to live the faith we profess.
As a Lutheran school, we strive to prepare students for their future educations and vocations.
St. John-Emmanuel (SJE) is proud to be accredited through both the State of Indiana and the National Lutheran School Accreditation. In recent years, SJE has annually received an Exemplary (A) rating from the Indiana Department of Education.
Small class sizes allow students to be challenged and receive individualized instruction so that they continue to grow in their education. An on-staff resource teacher assists with specialized instruction for any students who require additional services.
