Welcome to St. John-Emmanuel Lutheran School. We are a non-public school accredited by the state of Indiana and National Lutheran School Accreditation. Children at St. John-Emmanuel attend one of two campuses which focus on the specific developmental needs of the students. Children in three-year-old preschool through third grade attend our Emmanuel campus (9909 Wayne Trace). Learners in fourth through eighth grade attend our St. John campus (12912 Franke Road). We are privileged to be supported by two congregations, St. John (Flatrock) and Emmanuel (Soest) who prayerfully, financially, and in many other ways help our students to be part of the church. If you are looking for a school where your child will grow in faith, academics, relationships, and emotionally, contact us to find out how we can minister to your child.

SJE Recommended for Re-Accreditation
I am pleased and excited to announce that SJE has been recommended for full accreditation for the next 5 year period beginning September 1, 2018. Our continued accreditation is in large part thanks to the work of the faculty and staff of SJE as well as the students, families and congregations that support our school and make it what it is today. A big thank you to all of you for helping make that possible.
SJE- Being Jesus' Hands and Feet-Serving the Community
Every year our 6th through 8th grade students participate, in partnership with Wyneken Memorial Lutheran School in Decatur, in Pack Away Hunger, an organization that feeds the hunger not just in other countries, but right here in our county. Much of the food the kids pack stays right here in Allen county.
We are blessed to be able to help people right here in the county who need food daily. We are committed to being Jesus' hands and feet in every way that we can. This is just one of the ways we do that. Below are a few pictures of our middle schoolers packing food for Pack Away Hunger.
Also, once again this year our 4th and 5th graders spent an afternoon volunteering at the Community Harvest Food Bank. Below are a few pictures of their time at the food bank. A big thanks to Miss Mefferd (4th grade teacher) and Mrs. Muehl (5th grade teacher) for planning and organizing this volunteer event.
